Our Story

JENCO began with a simple, personal belief: your skin deserves to be cared for, not corrected.

We created JENCO not out of a desire to enter the beauty industry, but out of a growing frustration with the way skincare is often sold. We kept seeing the same pattern: normal skin treated like a problem to fix, perfection packaged as a promise, and marketing that quietly suggested you weren’t enough until you bought the next solution.

We didn’t want to add to that noise. We wanted to step away from it.

So we built JENCO around a different kind of message—and a different kind of product. Instead of chasing trends, we focus on what holds up: science-backed formulation, clear reasoning, and respect for the person using it. Every ingredient is chosen for a purpose. Nothing is added just to sound impressive or boost label appeal—and nothing is positioned to create urgency or make you feel like you have to buy it.

We believe skincare should feel like support, not a standard to live up to. That’s why you won’t find fear-based marketing here. No “flawless” claims. No empty promises. You won’t see us demonize safe, effective ingredients or lean on pseudoscience to create urgency. Not every “natural” ingredient is better, and not every “synthetic” ingredient is harmful. We also don’t promote the myth of “chemical-free” skincare—everything is made of chemicals, including water.

And yes, we use preservatives. Keeping a product protected from bacteria, yeast, and mold isn’t optional—it’s responsible. We won’t compromise our formulas to fit what’s popular or what simply “sells.”

Every ingredient we use is there for a reason. We don’t add filler ingredients, and we don’t load formulas with “label appeal” extras—like long lists of trendy extracts included in trace amounts that don’t meaningfully improve performance. Meet the Founder

Jennifer is the founder and formulator behind JENCO Skincare. She’s a nurse with a background in biology and chemistry, and she brings a care-first, evidence-based mindset to every formula—because what goes on skin shouldn’t be rushed.

Along the way, Jennifer noticed something she couldn’t ignore: too many products—even expensive ones—do the bare minimum to sell, relying on cheap fillers and hype instead of truly well-built formulas. She wanted skincare that was genuinely good: products she’d personally reach for, use consistently, and feel confident recommending.

Every product is formulated by Jennifer herself, guided by research, intention, and an uncompromising standard of quality. Nothing is released until it meets her criteria:

Sensory experience: it has to feel good on the skin - texture, finish, and comfort matter.
Skin respect: made with safety in mind, avoiding known harmful ingredients and unnecessary irritants.
